Well, man now, he’s certainly not just a boy anymore. He is confident, quick, and intensely loyal. More than anything he is a hero worshiper, and he wants his heroes to be proud of him and how he acts. This makes him foolhardy and more willing to take risks, but he is normally clever enough to get out of them. At one point in time he would do anything that his hero told him to do, very much one who leads by following someone else’s example. Colin has spent a lot of the past few years growing up, though. He’s still Colin from school, but he’s seen what war has done to people, he’s seen how badly it tears people apart. He’s a bit quieter than he was in school, more cautious about the risks that he takes. He is also more picky on who his adoration goes to. Instead of just seeing the stories, as with Harry, he sees what people are doing and who the true heroes are. But he is still the comic book geek that believes that good will beat evil. Now he knows that it is not going to be as easy as he originally thought it was going to be though. He knows that he has to rise up, be the hero like in his comic books. Him and Dennis are going to help save the world. Strengths: Clever, loyal, confident Weakness: Foolhardy, hero worships, easily crushed by his heroes Family and Friends (list relationships with them): Daniel: Colin’s dad and his first hero. Colin will always look up to his dad, and feels that the man can do almost no wrong when it comes to taking care of his family. He wants to grow up to be as good of a husband and dad as his is one day. Noreen: Colin’s mum and possibly the only person who can make him see any sense. He loves the woman dearly, but he’s still afraid of her and her disapproving voice when she’s upset with him. Abigail: The little sister. The little princess and damsel in distress that Colin would do anything to protect. He’s glad his parents have her far away from this entire mess. Dennis: Colin’s brother, best friend, and other half. The brothers were for the most part inseparable, even now. He would give his life for his brother, and he would take anything on to protect him. Appearance (paragraph minimum.): Colin’s grown up from the tiny little kid that would follow harry around. He’s gotten tall, skinny, and has curly blonde hair. He’s still as mischievous looking as always. Being a muggleborn and having been hiding as a muggle, he is always in muggle clothes and is almost never seen without one of his cameras. They are his babies, and even while on the run he always has them with him. Hobbies (Quidditch, Astronomy, Chess, Gob Stones): Photography, comics, sneaking up on subjects Biography (three paragraphs minimum): Colin was born bright eyed and full lunged on March 25 to Noreen and Daniel Creevey, their first child out of three. He was followed a few years later by Dennis and the dynamic duo was born. Almost from the time Dennis was born, Colin was inseparable from him. He adored the idea of being a big brother, of taking care of his little brother, and playing with him. The two grew to be thick as thieves, despite the age difference. The two were a handful, even more so after their little sister Abigail was born. While the two of them would run off on their own to play and get stuck in the mud and scrape their knees, it became increasingly more enjoyable for them to snatch up their sister to join in on their games, despite causing their mother to pull her hair out, put them in time out, and threaten to take their pocket money away. Unfortunately none of this seemed to work terribly well for discouraging them. In fact if anything, it encouraged them, yet some how Abigail never got hurt. Years later, their parents would wonder if it was because of the particular gift that both their sons shared. School was bad, but at least the boys still saw each other at home. The cruelest blow to them was when Colin was sent his acceptance letter to Hogwarts. At first it was hard just to believe that, hey, he had freaking superpowers! But on top of that it meant that Colin had to be separated from his brother and his family, something that he was not entirely accepting of. However in the end his father sent him off with his old camera. That camera became Colin’s lifeline to his home and family, and he has never been without it sense. A hero worshiper at heart, he had heard about the magnificent Harry Potter and simply could not help but idolize him. That got him into trouble, his camera lens saving him from certain death of the basilisk. But Harry saved him and brought him back! His idolizing of the boy who lived was set solidly in place and Colin settled into Hogwarts well enough. However it only preceded to get even better when in his third year his brother Dennis joined him up at Hogwarts. Who know a muggle family could turn out two magical children? It was destiny, and when Dennis was sorted into Gryffindor the two brothers were once again inseparable. The next year they joined up with Harry in the DA. Colin, while not the best student in school, turned out to be a quick enough study under the direction of the DA. The year after his fifth year would change everything though. The war was really starting up, and he and his brother were not going to be allowed back in school. Dennis and him tried to go back, but McGonagall had them return to their family. Between McGonagall and their mother, the boys had no choice but to stay with their family. Knowing the danger because of their interaction with the wizarding world, the Creeveys relocated to the American south, a place that seemed as distant from England as possible. They started over, they were safe. But Colin was not content to just sit on the sidelines while their friends were killed off, and he knew Dennis was not either. After he came of age, Colin made the choice to go back. Dennis, being Dennis, came along and Colin did not let their parents stop them. They came back. It had been years, and England was a much different pace from when they left. But breaking into their abandoned home, they collected what they could. They had to take these books left over from school years long gone and learn what they could to help their friends defend everyone else. After all, even Batman had to learn how to fight crime, right? So they took to traveling, moving from place to place, never in one place for too long. Both brothers were charming and they picked up things quickly. At first only Colin could learn the spells that they would eventually pick up as they moved along the continent, but as soon as Dennis was old enough he would teach Dennis, and anything new they would learn together. Sure they were not genius’, but they did pretty damn well on their own, and they were quick studies. This was not school, this was life and death. They needed to learn these things to protect each other, their friends, and their family still in America. They had heard about the Order while they were traveling. It would pop up in papers or in conversations, and Colin and Dennis set about trying to track it down. They wanted to help; they wanted to do anything they could to do so. They knew they would come upon it one day. Until that day happened, the day that would change things forever. He had just been going out for supplies, he had meant to get right back to Dennis. But what he had not been expecting is an officer questioning him about a robbery that happened just before he arrived at the store. When his identification was handed over, and lacked the appropriate visa, Colin found himself dragged out to the lovely nearby jail. He had no way of really contacting his brother, and as an illegal he was being detained for the time being. But more and more news was filtering through that bad things were increasing in the wizarding world. One night he heard about the attack on a village and he just got so angry and frustrated on where he was that he just…disappeared. He opened his eyes and he was inside the items lock up. Quickly finding his items, of which included his wand, he apparated out of there and as far away as possible. Which probably meant that he was on some kind of wanted list, but now he had to find Dennis. He knew that his brother would not still be where he had left him, it had been too long and they knew better than to stay in one place too long. Now he has to find his brother, and the order. Hopefully, a recent journal he has come into possession of will help with that. | |||||||||
